Inside the thick walls of Häme Castle, located on the shore of Lake Vanajavesi, you can experience an authentic medieval atmosphere in the same rooms where people have lived since the Middle Ages. The atmospheric castle offers facilities for both large and small events: you can book one of the castle’s halls or even an entire floor for a party or meeting. Linnantupa is a private-hire event restaurant for 60 people. The historic, atmospheric hall is the perfect setting for events from wedding receptions to corporate events. The versatile, unforgettable space lends itself to many things!
Kuninkaansali is the castle’s grand ballroom with a unique atmosphere. It’s ideal, for example, for weddings and concerts. The ballroom can accommodate up to 110 people. You can also book the fantastic Kruununleipomo, the old crown bakery, for private events all through the year. Private events taking up the entire castle area can be negotiated separately.
The lecture hall is an event space suitable for lectures, training courses, and meetings for up to 120 people. The Linnanniemi courtyard, surrounded by moats, also provides a wonderful setting for events on the banks of Lake Vanajavesi. The courtyards can host up to 3,000 people with food and beverage stalls, lounge areas, terraces, and performance stages.
